Traditional Balisong

Traditional balisongs using locally available materials. Narra Wood, Kamagong, Carabao Horn, and Philippine Sambar are often used as insert materials.  Brass and stainless steel from scarps are formed by hand to turn into handle frames.

Blades are often made of leaf springs ( 1095 or 5160 )  from dilapidated trucks,  though the majority come from scrap metals. This is transformed into a piece of art using basic tools and is 100% handmade.
